Naam Art Gallery - This gallery is purely dedicated to upcoming artists and art lovers. Round the year, one can enjoy numerous art shows organized in this art gallery where the young talent gets the desired opportunity to display their paintings and art pieces. Naam Art Gallery displays the work of many renowned artists like the English painter A.W. Hallett and the German painter Elizabeth Buschmann.

Triund Trek - 
This Trek of 9 km from Mcleodganj takes the adventure seekers to a very famous tourist attraction, Triund. It is a peak in the Dhauladhar range of the mighty Himalayas. The place is ideal for camping as it has an unpolluted atmosphere and is one of the few eco-friendly sites located in India. Triund offers amazing views of the Moon peak-Indera Pass, green forests and splendid hilly areas.

Kangra Art Museum - The Museum of Kangra Art was designed to preserve, conserve and revive the cultural heritage of the Kangra region. Located near Kothwali Bazaar in Dharamsala, the museum is a grand display of Tibetan and Buddhist cultures. Though in its infantile stage, yet the museum has a good collection of ancient assortments and promises a long way to go.

The Kangra Art Museum houses a good collection of arts, crafts, artifacts, costumes, jewellery, woodcarvings, anthropological items, coins, manuscripts, sculptures, pottery, royal tents, shamiana, pandals and a host of other delights. The museum houses a library, display section for contemporary artists, sculptors and photographers along with an art gallery that showcases Kanga Kalam works or the Pahari miniature paintings.

Dharamkot - A wonderful and beautiful small village located nearby Bhagsu Waterfall, enveloped within high pines and rhododendron forests. There are several famous religious centres in the village, which comprise Tushita Research Centre and Mountaineering Institute.

Dharamshala is well-connected to other major Indian cities by air, road and rail. The nearest airport to Dharamshala is Gaggal Airport, located about 13 km away. Dharamshala is connected to Delhi and other parts of North India via a network of both state operated buses and private tour operators. Most buses stop at the main bus terminal of Lower Dharamshala. The nearest major railway station to Dharamshala is at Pathankot, located at a distance of 85 km away. You can take a taxi or avail bus services from Pathankot to reach Dharamshala.

The temperature in summer season ranges from 30°C to 38°C and even rises to a maximum of 41°C. The monsoon season experiences a heavy downpour. The temperature during this period ranges from 25°C to 32°C and humidity level remains high. During winter season, the temperature falls down to 7°C. The temperature in winters ranges from 7°C to 15°C.
