Reserve Forest Sanctuary - 
Reserve Forest Sanctuary is located 4 Km from Mashobra and is an important part of the Shimla Reserve Forest Sanctuary. This Sanctuary is completely enveloped with plantations of cedar, oak and pine and is bounded by the Indus River. It is blessed with rich and varied flora and fauna.

Wild Flower Hall - Another astonishing place to visit, Wild Flower Hall is situated in Charabra town and is only 8 Kms from Mashobra city. This attractive place is situated on the Mahasu Peak at an average elevation of 2498 m. It is a beautiful place to visit.

Mahasu Devta Temple - Locals of Mashobra and tourists obtain immense pleasure in the rural aura of the Mahasu Devta Temple. Dedicated to Lord Shiva who is locally known as Mahasu Devta, the temple is a popular shrine in the area. Mahasu Jatra is the main festival celebrated in the temple on the third Tuesday in the month of May. Folk songs, dance, Natti (tribal dance), goat sacrifice and archery competition are the rituals performed and enjoyed during this festivity. People from nearby villages come to enjoy a traditional form of puja as compared to the urban version celebrated elsewhere.

Carignano - Carignano is a popular tourist destination in Mashobra town of Shimla district in Himachal Pradesh. It is an Italian Villa, beautifully situated at a height of about 7700 ft above sea level. The villa was built by Chevalier Federico Pelite, an Italian photographer, who named it in memory of his hometown, Carignano. The villa is built with wood amidst oak and pine trees. The characteristic lawns, stone benches and night lamps of the colonial period find their way into the making of this villa. It is also known for its water lift which is the highest in the world, located at an altitude of around 7657 feet. Various adventure activities like rappelling, rock climbing and fishing are also carried out here.

The nearest Domestic Airport from Mashobra is Shimla Airport, roughly 45 min. drive from Mashobra. The second nearest Airport is Chandigarh Airport, roughly three hour drive from the city. It is well connected to the major cities like Amritsar, New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Goa, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Leh. The nearest Railway station from Mashobra is Shimla Railway station, located at a distance of 11 Km from the city.

Summers of Mashobra are pleasant. The temperature ranges from 8°C to 30°C in the months of March to May. The temperature is comfortable with gentle breeze in the evening. June marks the beginning of Monsoon season in Mashobra and lasts till September. Infrequent rainfalls relieve Mashobra and its people from summers. Winters approach Mashobra in October and lasts till February. The climate is pleasantly cool and the temperature ranges from 0°C to 10°C. The best season to visit Mashobra is the winter season. The temperature remains cool and comfortable and is apt for sightseeing. The best months to visit are September, October, November, December, February and April.
